Kareem Pearson, a dynamic and multifaceted individual, hails from the vibrant and culturally rich Bronx, NY.

He pursued his academic journey at SUNY New Paltz, where he earned a degree in Black Studies and Organizational Communications, laying a strong foundation in understanding cultural dynamics and effective communication. Driven by a passion for culinary arts, Kareem further honed their skills at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, where he obtained a Culinary Degree.

This diverse educational background reflects Kareem's dedication to both intellectual and creative pursuits, blending a deep appreciation for cultural heritage with a flair for culinary innovation. Kareem continues to make strides in his career, bringing a unique perspective and a zest for life to every endeavor.

Founder & President 

Yolan Pearson is a dedicated community leader and advocate committed to advancing equity and opportunity in Charlotte.

As Secretary of The Fixx Foundation, she supports strategic initiatives that expand access to resources and strengthen underserved communities.

She also serves as Parliamentarian for the Seversville Board, championing transparent governance and collaborative leadership. Yolan’s passion for service and deep love for her community drive her work to create meaningful, lasting impact.

Secretary 

Kaia Benjamin brings over 15 years of media and digital distribution leadership experience, with roles at Turner Broadcasting, Viacom, NBCUniversal, and Paramount. She is known for driving operational excellence and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver results.

As Treasurer of The Fixx Foundation, Kaia oversees financial strategy, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring transparency and responsible stewardship of the Foundation’s resources to maximize community impact.
